THE ACACIA STRAIN: 'New Record Is More Than Half Way Done!'

February 27, 2008

Western Massachusetts purveyors of all things heavy THE ACACIA STRAIN have issued the following update:

"The new record is more than half way done! We will be touring in June, so keep an eye out, we will be playing new material. Vincent [Bennett, vocals] is trying to get into the studio this week to re-record the vocals for the new song we want to put up. DL [guitarist Daniel Laskiewicz] wanted it to be awesome before it went out to all of you so it is taking a little more time than we wanted. New record should be out around September sometime. Please pass this along to all your friends and let them know... we need all of your support!"

THE ACACIA STRAIN's latest album, "The Dead Walk", was released in June 2006 through Prosthetic Records. The CD was recorded with Adam Dutkiewicz (KILLSWITCH ENGAGE) and has spawned a video for the track "Angry Mob Justice". Watch the clip below.
